ABOUT WHITNEY
The Whitney M. Slater Foundation is dedicated to continuing the aspirations and dreams of Whitney M. Slater. Whitney was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 19, and passed away due to the disease at the early age of 21. Whitney was a student at South Carolina State University, studying to be a neonatal nurse at the time of her diagnosis and passing. While undergoing treatment, she provided workshops and training on breast cancer awareness and the importance of selfexaminations and screenings. Your donations will help us continue the work that Whitney began by proving community outreach and programs across the US and abroad. In addition, the Slater Foundation provides scholarships to students who aspire to work in the health field. Your generous donation will allow her dream to continue to live on.
